Low Modulus Acetoxy curing Silicone Sealant offers excellent adhesive properties on many building substrates, making it suitable for use externally and internally on glass, aluminium, painted surfaces, plastics, composite boards and non-porous surfaces. The low modulus formulation can cope with greater movement for sealing gaps and weatherproofing. Ideal for PVCu windows and doors.
Use Low Modulus Acetoxy curing Silicone Sealant for general exterior sealing and weatherproofing around door and window frames, especially wood, metal and PVCu. Sealing glass to glass and glass to aluminium. Draught proofing casement windows and doors. Top sealing in glazing systems and sealing cladding.
Do not use; on concrete, marble, galvanised steel, copper, brass, lead, for fixing mirrors, aquarium assembly, bitumen, oily surfaces or submerged areas of permanently standing water. Over painting is not recommended. On porous or unsound surfaces priming is advised. Use of a fungal resistant silicone is preferred for wet and humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
Low Modulus Acetoxy curing Silicone Sealant is available in white, translucent and brown in 310ml cartridges.
