APPLICATIONS
1) Wood glues, paper adhesive, floor, wall and ceiling adhesive.
2) The manufacture of wood glues for hard wood and paper adhesives
3) The production of floor, wall and ceiling adhesives, provided that the substrate is absorbent.
PROCESSING
The minimum film forming temperature of APS-EAGLE005 can still be lowered further by addition of high boiling solvents such as polysolvan O and butyl diglycol acetate or plasticizers such as phthalates. It is weakly acidic, the polymer dispersion can be neutralized by 2% chalk (Amorphous Calcium Carbonate) for the lamination of veneer, it can be modified by inorganic extenders such as light spar (Calcium Sulphate).
The fillers should be added as an aqueous paste good compatibility exists with plasticizers such as Dibutyl Phthalate, Dilsobutyl Phthalate, Dimethyl Phthalate, Dimerthyl Glycol Phthalate and Benzoyl Butyl Phthalate or Propylene Glycol Benzoate and Propylene Glycol Dibenzoate, respectively .
PRESERVATION
To prevent attack by micro organisms the preservation normally used for polymer dispersions should be added despite our preliminary preservation measures. Checks should be carried out to determine their compatibility and efficacy.
